Playhouse Preschool Assistant 2026-2027

Montgomery School, an independent, co-educational day school serving preschool through grade eight in Chester Springs, PA, is seeking a caring, nurturing, and reliable part-time staff member to join our team!

As the preschool assistant, we are seeking a qualified applicant who will:

• Interact with the students and help provide a loving, nurturing environment for both the children and parents 
• Assist with daily classroom activities 
• Assist with classroom behavior management
• Build positive relationships with children and families
• Other duties as assigned, which support the mission and high functioning of the school 

Hours for the position are Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 12:45 PM, September - June when school is in session.

Qualified applicants will possess:

• Reliability 
• A friendly and nurturing demeanor
• Flexibility, fun energy, and dynamic enthusiasm
• The ability to interact and play with young children at their physical level 
• A team-oriented spirit and the ability to connect meaningfully with students throughout our diverse community
• Classroom or other related experience in early childhood is preferred but not required
