Rocky Hill Country Day School seeks a highly qualified 5th Grade Teacher

Teachers are expected to:

We are looking for a 5th Grade Teacher who is confident in their teaching experience and able to:
instruct 5th grade students with a math and writing focus
design engaging lessons that meet the needs of a myriad of learners
implement best practices in teaching upper elementary students in writing and math that might include Responsive Classroom, Empowering Writers, and SFUSD Math
Other additional responsibilities include:
attendance of professional growth opportunities and faculty meetings
participation in school-wide events and committees
any additional duties as assigned by the Division Head
Qualifications and requirements include
a bachelor's degree with a master's preferred
experience in education with upper elementary aged students
excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
experience and confidence with technology
