The Opportunity
Academy of the Holy Names seeks a strategic, student-centered Athletic Director to lead and strengthen its middle and upper school athletic programs. The next Athletic Director will build on a proud tradition of competitive success while ensuring alignment with the school’s mission, culture, and long-term strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement a comprehensive vision for athletics aligned with AHN’s mission
- Promote a culture of sportsmanship, character, and competitive integrity
- Align athletic programming with broader institutional goals
Program Oversight
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate coaches and athletic staff
- Oversee scheduling, facilities, budgeting, and compliance
- Ensure adherence to FHSAA and other governing body requirements
Student-Athlete Development
- Champion academic success and personal growth
- Support leadership development within teams
- Collaborate with college counseling regarding recruitment pathways
Community Engagement
- Strengthen partnerships with families, alumni, and community stakeholders
- Elevate school spirit and visibility through athletics
- Collaborate with Advancement and Enrollment to support storytelling and recruitment initiatives
Compensation & Benefits
