The Primary School Co-teacher is half of a two-person team in one of our Primary School classrooms. Guided by our Inquiry and SEL-based pedagogy and the theory and practice of the Responsive Classroom, the Co-teacher works with the lead homeroom teacher, resource and specialist teachers, and other teachers to support instruction throughout the day. The Co-teacher participates in regular collaborative team meetings and faculty training in the Primary School and across the school.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in education required, three to five years previous experience working with children in learning environments, excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfort with integrating technology into the curriculum, interest in collaborating with colleagues, and a passion for working with children.
