Besant Hill School, located in the resort town of Ojai, California, is a 78-year-old college prep co-educational boarding school with an emphasis in the arts and project based-learning. Besant Hill School was founded as the Happy Valley School in 1946 by a community of educators and philosophers who were convinced of the need for new approaches to education. They envisioned an educational climate that would foster the overall intellectual, creative, and emotional development of each student in every aspect of daily life. The school is situated on 500 picturesque acres in Upper Ojai. As with all full time positions at Besant Hill School, residential duties (evenings and weekends), coaching, and outdoor education opportunities will be contractually required. The school is currently seeking an experienced Mathematics educator. The ideal candidate must be versatile and willing to be called upon to teach an array of subjects, including:  Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Calculus, Physics and Statistics. Housing may be available.
