The Walker School is seeking an Upper School English Teacher who brings passion, creativity, and purpose to the classroom. What You’ll Do • Teach engaging English courses across grades 8 to 12, including on level and AP courses • Design dynamic, discussion based lessons that promote critical thinking, analysis, and strong writing skills • Create student centered classrooms that encourage voice, choice, and curiosity • Serve as an advisor, mentoring a small group of students • Be available for student support and academic growth during designated times • Contribute to the full life of the school through coaching or student activities • Partner with families and colleagues to support student success
