Rawson Saunders School, a leader in dyslexia education, is seeking a curious, collaborative Elementary Science Teacher for the 2026–27 school year. We’re looking for an educator who believes that dyslexic learners are creative thinkers and problem-solvers—and who can bring science to life through inquiry, connection, and discovery.
What you’ll do:
Design engaging, hands-on science lessons and lab activities that foster curiosity and critical thinking
Guide students through the processes of questioning, experimenting, and drawing evidence-based conclusions
Integrate earth, physical, life, and environmental sciences into meaningful learning experiences
Collaborate with classroom teachers to connect science with literacy, math, and social studies
Communicate regularly with families about student progress and discoveries
Contribute to a culture of professionalism, creativity, and continuous learning
