The Life
Remember the best years of your life at hockey prep school? Now imagine getting to live it all over again—but this time, you’re the one making it happen for the next generation.
We’re looking for a Team Manager to join our tight-knit hockey family at a private boarding school where the rink is your office and every day feels like game day. This is the perfect gig for recent grads who love hockey, thrive on organization, and want to kick-start a career in coaching, sports management, or hockey operations.
The Role
As a Team Manager, you’ll be the ultimate multitasker and go-to person for your team. You’ll live on campus in your own private studio attached to your team’s residential floor, serving as both a residential counselor and the logistical mastermind who keeps everything running smoothly.
Your responsibilities include:
Logistics & Travel Coordination: Plan and execute all team travel, including creating detailed itineraries, booking accommodations, coordinating transportation, and ensuring every road trip runs like clockwork.
Communication Hub: Serve as the primary point of contact between players, families, coaches, and staff. Keep everyone in the loop with schedules, updates, and important information.
Domestic Support: Help students with day-to-day needs both on campus and on the road—from making sure they have clean jerseys to helping them stay organized and on task.
Residential Life: Live on your team’s floor during the week and throughout the school year, providing mentorship, supervision, and a steady presence for your players.
Travel Companion: Hit the road with your team for every away game, tournament, and showcase—you’ll be there to handle logistics, support players, and make sure everything goes off without a hitch.
The Location
Here’s the best part: we live where other people vacation. Our campus is surrounded by incredible outdoor recreation, vibrant community, and endless adventure — hiking trails out your back door, and a lifestyle that balances hard work with serious play.
What We’re Looking For
Recent college grad (or someone early in their career) with a passion for hockey
Former hockey prep school or academy student is a huge plus—you get it because you’ve lived it
Super organized with strong attention to detail (you’re the person who color-codes their calendar)
Excellent communicator who can juggle texts, emails, and phone calls like a pro
Flexible, adaptable, and ready to wear many hats (sometimes literally—game days get creative)
Someone who thrives in a team environment and genuinely enjoys working with high school athletes
Interest in a long-term career in coaching, hockey operations, sports management, or a related field
Why This Job Rocks
Live where people vacation: Our location is unbeatable for outdoor enthusiasts and adventure seekers.
Your own space: Private studio attached to your team’s floor—your own little sanctuary.
Travel with the team: Road trips, tournaments, showcases—you’ll see new places and be part of the action.
Entry-level opportunity with serious growth potential: This is a launching pad for a career in hockey.
Be part of something special: Help shape the next generation of elite hockey players in a supportive, energetic environment.
Live the hockey life: If you loved your hockey prep school days, this is your chance to relive them—with a paycheck and a purpose.
Ready to Join the Team?
If you’re a detail-oriented, hockey-loving recent grad who wants to combine your passion for the game with meaningful work, we want to hear from you. This is more than a job—it’s a lifestyle, a community, and a chance to make a real impact.
We’re hiring, so bring your A-game and let’s make this season unforgettable.
Apply today and get ready to live the hockey prep school dream—on your terms.
