The Lower School Music Teacher will be responsible for teaching music classes twice a week to students in Pre-K through 4th grade. With a deep understanding of and passion for teaching elementary age students, this teacher will be able to transfer their enthusiasm for music to our youngest learners using multiple modalities and authentic applications. The teacher will utilize differentiation and performance-based assessment to ensure every child finds their voice. The teacher will direct the Lower School Choir in weekly chapel services and partner with the Middle School music department to alternate leadership for all-school chapel gatherings. Beyond the classroom, the music teacher will orchestrate annual grade-level music productions for each grade level and curate performances for various school-wide events. The teacher will collaborate closely with a community of dedicated, compassionate, and energetic adults, faculty and parents alike, to build a joyful, inclusive, and respectful learning community.

Compensation: $78,836 to $124,774 annually
