Salary range: $75,000 to $105,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Classification: salaried, exempt.

The Pegasus School seeks a Lower School Computer Science & Engineering Teacher to join our community beginning August 19, 2026.
The Lower School Computer Science and Engineering Teacher designs and delivers a developmentally appropriate program for students in PK through Grade 4. Grounded in project-based learning and design thinking, the program introduces students to computational thinking, engineering design, digital and AI literacy, and emerging technologies.
Through hands-on, inquiry-based experiences, students engage in the design process by identifying problems, generating ideas, building and testing solutions, and refining their work. Instruction integrates coding, robotics, engineering, and media creation in both a dedicated lab setting and in collaboration with classroom teachers.
Position Details
This is a full-time, ten-month, in-person/on-campus position, reporting to the Lower School Director.

Qualifications
Required – Bachelor’s degree in computer science, education, or a related field and teaching credential. Experience teaching elementary students and delivering computer science, STEM, or STEAM curriculum.
Desired – Five or more years of experience teaching computer science, STEM, or design-based learning in a PK-4 setting. Master’s degree in computer science or similar field. Experience with makerspaces, fabrication tools, or robotics platforms.
The Pegasus School serves 595 students from Pre-K through grade 8.
