Job Summary:
Shore Country Day School seeks a creative, versatile Multimedia Content Specialist to serve as a central storyteller for the school community. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, this role will shape and amplify Shore’s voice through compelling, high-quality content across a range of platforms.
The Multimedia Content Specialist will play a key role in advancing the Shore brand by bringing the school’s mission, values, and daily life into focus through dynamic, engaging storytelling. This individual will help grow awareness and foster meaningful connections with a wide range of audiences, including prospective families, current families, alumni, and faculty and staff.
The ideal candidate is an experienced content creator with a strong portfolio spanning written, visual, and digital formats, and a demonstrated ability to adapt storytelling across channels and audiences. This role collaborates broadly across the campus community and evolves in response to emerging opportunities and priorities. Flexibility is essential, as this position requires occasional coverage of after-school, evening, and weekend events.

Key Responsibilities:
Create, capture, and produce compelling, audience-centered multimedia content — including photography, video, and written storytelling — across platforms, advancing institutional priorities while reflecting the full breadth of the Shore experience
Monitor and evaluate content performance, using data and insights to inform strategy and continuous improvement
Partner with colleagues across the school to identify, shape, amplify and create stories that highlight community, programmatic strengths, and student life
Contribute to the creative direction and execution of multimedia projects, from concept development through final production Support the planning and delivery of key communications, including regular newsletters and other schoolwide messaging
Help steward the school’s digital presence, including website content and social media channels, with attention to voice, consistency, and best practices
Contribute to the ongoing evolution of Shore’s storytelling and communications efforts, adapting to emerging opportunities, technologies, and institutional needs range of stakeholders

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of seven years of relevant experience in marketing,communications, or a related field. Experience in independent schools is preferred.
Proficiency in writing, editing, photography, videography, and social media content creation and management
Demonstrated experience developing and producing branded written and visual content
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills across multiple formats and platforms
Strong visual storytelling abilities, including photography, videography, and a well-developed design sensibility
Experience with social media management, including content planning, creative content creation, publishing, audience engagement, and platform best practices
Familiarity with digital analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and the ability to interpret data to inform decisions
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Lightroom) or similar platforms
Experience with Finaliste, Blackbaud, and Constant Contact
Highly organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, exercising sound judgment and initiative
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive, professional relationships across a wide
