The Hun School of Princeton seeks a dynamic and creative Assistant Athletic Director. The Assistant Athletic Director reports to the Co-Directors of Athletics, is a 12-month, full time position. The Assistant Athletic Director is responsible for assisting in all administrative duties as they relate to the daily operations of the Athletics Department.
Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Co-Directors of Athletics, oversee the day-to-day functions of the athletic department in collaboration with the entire athletic department;
Possess the ability/desire to coach in one or more of the three athletics seasons at either the middle school or upper school level;
Provide site supervision of athletic contests as determined by the Athletic Directors;
Collaborate with the Athletic Directors on creating policies and procedures for site management and game-day operations to be reviewed seasonally;
Attend league and state meetings as directed; attend meetings with coaches, parents, and students as needed; attend general weekly meetings as needed;
Assist in overseeing and coordinating transportation for all athletic teams and events;
Under the supervision of the Athletic Directors, organize and execute seasonal sports award ceremonies, team dinners, and distribution of varsity letters and certificates;
Assist the Athletic Directors in scheduling and organization of Middle School interscholastic athletic events and development of team practice schedules;
Assist the Athletic Directors in onboarding new coaches;
Coordinate with Athletic Directors to maintain and populate Hun Athletics social media;
Perform tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, which may be altered or redesigned as necessary.
Requirements:
Bachelor degree, Masters degree a plus;
Work schedule includes days, evenings, weekends and school holidays;
Must be detailed oriented as well as through and accurate attention to details and communication;
Excellent interpersonal skills including responsive customer service and strong oral and written communication;
Strong technical competency and ability to learn new technology;
Ability to prioritize and effectively manage diverse tasks in a fast-paced environment, and complete job responsibilities with minimal supervision direction;
Value collegiality and teamwork;
Must possess good social skills and ability to interact and work with a diverse group that makes up the Hun School community including students, parents co-workers, staff, and faculty;
A commitment to a diverse and inclusive community;
Must possess good judgment, tact, sensitivity, and discretion in the handling of confidential information, materials and situations;
Display the highest ethical and professional behavior;
Must pass a State of New Jersey criminal background check and be fingerprinted;
Willingness to get certified as CDL Driver Class C;

Salary Range: $55,000 to $63,000
