POSITION OVERVIEW
The Assistant Director of Enrollment Management serves as a critical member of the Enrollment Management leadership team at Church Farm School, responsible for effectively executing a CFS strategy to attract, enroll, and support mission-aligned students and families.
This role oversees the full new family pipeline from inquiry through enrollment, leads the school’s recruitment and yield strategy, and directs the financial aid (tuition assistance) program to ensure alignment with enrollment goals, access priorities, and long-term financial sustainability.
Working closely with the Director of Enrollment Management, the admissions team as a whole and in partnership with colleagues across academic, student life, and advancement teams, the Assistant Director builds strong external relationships, enhances the prospective family experience, and leverages data and analytics to inform strategic decision-making.
This position requires a dynamic blend of relationship-building, strategic leadership, operational management, and analytical rigor, with a deep commitment to access, affordability, and the mission of Church Farm School.
POSITION SPECIFICS
Recruitment Strategy & Pipeline Management
Own and manage the new family pipeline from initial inquiry through enrollment, ensuring a seamless, responsive, and personalized experience.
Partner with the Director of Enrollment Management to establish annual enrollment targets and long-term pipeline goals.
Design and execute a comprehensive recruitment strategy, with particular focus on building strong pipelines in key geographic and strategic markets.
Develop and sustain partnerships with feeder schools, community-based organizations (CBOs), and educational consultants.
Represent the school externally through travel, school visits, community engagement, and strategic outreach initiatives.
Collaborate with admissions colleagues to ensure alignment of recruitment efforts across regions and constituencies.
Prospective Family Engagement & Visit Experience
Lead the design and execution of on-campus visit experiences, including tours, shadow days, overnight visits, and group programming.
Oversee major events such as Open Houses, Accepted Student/Family programs, and yield-focused programming.
Ensure that each touchpoint reflects a mission-aligned, welcoming, and high-quality experience for prospective families.
Partner with Marketing & Communications to align messaging, storytelling, and social media strategy across the recruitment funnel.
Yield Strategy & Enrollment Conversion
Partnering with the Director of Enrollment Management, manage and implement the school’s yield strategy, coordinating efforts across the admissions cycle.
Analyze funnel conversion points and implement strategies to improve application completion, acceptance, and enrollment rates.
Serve as an active member of the Admissions Committee, partnering with the committee and enrollment team to support strategic class shaping and decision-making.
Engage directly with prospective families to build trust, deepen relationships, and ensure successful enrollment outcomes.
Tuition Assistance Leadership
Conduct full administration of the school’s tuition assistance program, including:
Application review and need analysis
Award determination and communication
Ongoing family engagement and support
Partner with the Director of Enrollment Management to:
Align tuition assistance awards with enrollment priorities and tuition revenue goals
Manage and monitor the tuition assistance budget responsibly
Serve as a key member of the Tuition Assistance Committee, contributing to policy, philosophy, and allocation decisions.
Exercise sound judgment in evaluating complex financial situations while maintaining equity, consistency, and confidentiality.
Communicate clearly and compassionately with families about affordability and access, supporting both enrollment and retention.
Enrollment Operations, Data, and Analytics
Oversee the school’s admissions CRM and enrollment workflow systems, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and data integrity.
Strengthen pipeline visibility through data tracking, reporting, and forecasting tools.
Develop and deliver regular reports and dashboards to inform admissions strategy and senior leadership decision-making.
Use data to identify trends, refine recruitment strategy, and improve operational workflows.
Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment of systems and processes.
Leadership, Collaboration, and School-Wide Engagement
Contribute to school enrollment planning, budgeting, and strategic enrollment conversations
Partner closely with:
Business Office (budgeting, billing, reconciliation)
Marketing & Communications (messaging and brand alignment)
Academic and Student Life teams (student experience alignment)
Participate fully in the life of the school, including:
Admissions events
Committee work
Cross-functional initiatives supporting enrollment and retention
Contribute to conversations around access, affordability, and institutional positioning.
5–10 years of experience in enrollment management, financial aid, admissions, or a related field, preferably in an independent school setting.
Demonstrated experience managing tuition assistance programs and need-analysis systems (e.g., Clarity, SSS).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and inform strategy.
Experience with CRM systems, dashboards, and enrollment reporting tools (e.g. Finalsite, Blackbaud, Excel).
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build trust with a wide range of constituencies.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
