Middle School History Teacher
Harford Day School, located in Bel Air, MD seeks a dynamic middle school History teacher. The ideal candidate will possess strong content knowledge of global and United States history; a passion for teaching this age group; commitment to professional development and ongoing learning; enthusiasm for working with students, families and colleagues; flexibility; and a sense of humor. We seek an individual who is committed to promoting diversity and inclusion, and whose personal integrity and collegiality will enrich a high-achieving, collaborative school community. Graduate degree and a minimum of two years teaching experience preferred.
The teacher will be responsible for teaching four sections of middle school History classes (7th Grade World Cultures and 8th Grade U.S. History) and advising a group of middle school students.
