Seabury Hall is seeking a dynamic, student-centered Performing Arts Instructor to join our faculty for the 2026-2027 academic year. This role is designed for a versatile artist-educator who can inspire middle school students through the foundations of performance while contributing their specialized talents to our robust theater program.
The primary responsibility of this position is to lead Middle School Performing Arts classes, fostering a safe and energetic environment where students can explore expression, movement, and storytelling. A successful candidate will possess the pedagogical flexibility to teach core drama curriculum while taking on production-based roles that align with their specific skill set and departmental needs.
Depending on the applicant's expertise, responsibilities may include:
Directing: Leading or supporting Middle School and/or Upper School theatrical productions.
Technical Theater: Instructing students in stagecraft, set design, and tech Theatre
Costume Design: Managing wardrobe, costume construction, and design for school-wide performances.
