Madison Country Day School, a PreK-12 International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, seeks adventurous and energetic Educational Assistants to join the MCDS Early Childhood and Lower School (Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 4) team for the 2026-27 school year.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES

Candidates should have a genuine passion for education and be excited about working with students of different grade levels.
3. Flexibility: The ability to adapt and be flexible is important in the dynamic environment of a school. Educational assistants should be open to change, willing to take on different responsibilities and adjust their approach to meet the needs of students and teachers.
4. Growth Mindset: Having a growth mindset means embracing challenges, persisting through obstacles, and believing in the ability to improve. Educational assistants should encourage students to develop a growth mindset and model it themselves.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in the field of education and at least 1 year of professional experience is preferred
• Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred 
• Demonstrated examples of work where versatility, resourcefulness, innovation, and problem-solving skills
• Have a belief in the intrinsic relationship between social-emotional learning and culturally responsive pedagogy
• Work the hours of 7:45 am to 3:45 pm Monday thru Friday
