As a member of the competitive Interstate Athletics Conference (IAC) in the Greater Washington, DC area, Episcopal has a rich academic and athletic tradition and is deeply committed to fostering a successful athletic program as a crucial, co-curricular classroom in which students pursue excellence and develop as healthy, determined, collaborative, and ethical leaders for the future. Work in partnership with the admissions office, both to communicate to prospective students and families the values and ideals of the entire Episcopal community and to attract students who aspire to excel in both the classroom and on the baseball field at Episcopal High School.
Support players’ transitions to college, inclusive of establishing relationships with college and university programs in support of the recruiting process.
Value a meritocracy and build a belief among boys that achievement comes through hard work and teamwork.
Encourage a sense of belonging for all boys who are a part of the program through relationship-building with and among the boys that is based on the development of their character as well as their athletic ability.
