Job Title: School Nurse - Summer Program (SOAR)

Eagle Hill has an opening for a school nurse in its 2026 summer program - SOAR  The position will provide nursing services to students and staff during SOAR from July 6, 2026 through July 31, 2026. 

Hours: 8:30 - 3:30

Employment Category: Full-Time, Seasonal, Non-Faculty

Purpose: Fulfill their responsibilities in a sound, professional manner and shall report to the Program Director(s) and to such supervisory personnel as may from time to time be designated to the Nurse and shall devote their full professional time to the School and shall use their best effort, skills and attention to further the interest of the School, its students, and faculty.

Reports to: Program Director(s)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide appropriate medical services to students and staff each day SOAR is in session between July 6, 2026 and July 31, 2026.
• Provide first aid treatment of students and staff
• Provide emergency medical care of students and staff
• Administer medications within state mandated regulations
• Provide parental, staff and medical professional contact concerning medical issues of students
• Provide staff training in first aid
• Provide explanation of medication intervention used with current students
• Competently operate the School’s Health Center
• Maintain, organize and update student medical records and needs
• Comply with state regulations concerning School health services
• Perform other duties related to the position as directed by the Program Director(s) or her designee.
