Villanova Prep seeks an experienced physical education and health teacher who brings passion and excitement to the School. 

This position offers the potential for transition to full-time status based on organizational needs.

 Major Areas of Responsibility: 

• Teach Physical Education and Health classes.
• Be able to plan effective lessons that engage and challenge students.
• Communicate consistently with students, parents, and school personnel.
• Keep current and complete grading and attendance records.
• Possible coaching opportunities as well.

 Required Qualifications:

• Commitment to modeling the values of Catholic education.
• Undergraduate or Master’s Degree in Physical Education or related field.
• Experience teaching in a high school environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively to promote student learning.
• Strong interpersonal and team-building skills.

 Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with web-based learning and 1:1 laptop classroom settings.
• Experience teaching in a Catholic/Christian high school environment.

The annual full-time salary range for this position is $52,500 - $80,000 and is based upon, but not limited to, several factors that include type and years of experience, education level, and expertise.  The salary for this part-time position will be prorated based on the number of class sections assigned.
