TMI invites applications for a full-time position as an Upper School Math Instructor. The role begins in August, 2026.

Essential Job Duties

·         Teach five total sections: 2 Advanced Placement Statistics and 3 on-level Statistics.

·         Serve as an advisor to a small group of students.

·         Fulfill additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

·         Actively participate in and contribute to extracurricular activities, including athletics, residential life, or club programs, especially DECA and Stock Market Club.

Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s degree in Math, Education, or a related field; a focus or concentration in Math is preferred.

·         Open to candidates with various levels of teaching experience, from recent graduates to seasoned educators.

Required Expertise

·         Proficiency in a range of mathematical topics, particularly Statistics.

·         Experience with innovative teaching strategies and curriculum development tailored to diverse learning styles.

·         Ability to integrate technology effectively in math instruction.

·         Skills in guiding students in critical thinking and problem-solving in mathematics.

·         Experience in assessing student progress with various methods and adapting teaching strategies accordingly.

·         Commitment to ongoing professional development in math education
