Fifth Grade English and Social Studies Teacher, Advisor

Norwood has an opening for an experienced, dynamic fifth-grade English and social studies teacher beginning in the 2026-2027 academic year. Curricular and programmatic responsibilities for this position include teaching reading/language arts, social studies, and advisory. Successful candidates will work closely with other teachers on the fifth-grade team to cultivate grade-wide connectedness, plan and teach lessons, report on student progress, communicate with other parents, and perform various duties associated with being a full-time faculty member.

Ideally, applicants should have three to five years of working with middle school aged students.
