Founded in 1964 as an Episcopal boarding school for girls, Seabury Hall today is a coeducational independent day school serving 521 students from Maui in grades 5-12. The student body reflects Hawaii’s ethnic, cultural, and socio-economic diversity from all faiths and belief systems. The school is widely perceived as the preeminent college preparatory school on Maui and one of the leading schools in Hawaii. 

Seabury Hall is seeking an engaging, energetic and passionate full-time English instructor for the 2026-2027 school year.  We are seeking a candidate who has a gift for literary analysis and a deep appreciation for diverse literature; someone who can spark a fire in the classroom and challenge students to think critically about the "Big Picture."

The successful candidate will hold a degree in English or a related field (Master’s preferred) and possess a proven track record of inspiring middle/high school students.
