• Understanding of how to leverage formative and summative assessments to guide instruction.
• Enthusiasm for intellectual inquiry, rigor, aspiration, and lifelong learning.

Professional Qualifications & Requirements

• Completed Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; a Master’s degree in Education or a related field is strongly preferred.
• Valid pedagogical credentials, including a current Teaching Certificate from the PR Department of Education and demonstrated subject-matter expertise in the specific area of responsibility.
• Extensive experience in designing and delivering differentiated instruction within a rigorous, standards-based curriculum, ensuring all learners reach their highest potential.
• A minimum of three to five years of successful lead teaching experience in a high-performing or international school environment.
• Native or near-native fluency in both English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate with high professional clarity in both languages across all platforms.
• Demonstrated proficiency in learning frameworks, including the integration of educational technology and inquiry-based learning models.
• A documented history of professional collaboration, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and collective teacher efficacy.
• Experience working within diverse, multicultural communities and a deep commitment to the school’s mission of global citizenship and excellence.
• Full compliance with all local regulatory requirements, including a valid Law 300 clearance, updated Health Certificate, and all other documentation required by law and as part of employment requirements.
