HudsonWay Immersion School (HWIS) is a progressive pre-K through Grade 8 Mandarin and Spanish Immersion School founded 15 years ago in the NJ/NY area. HWIS Stirling, NJ has an immediate need for Spanish Substitute Teachers for this 2025-2026 school year. You may cover for a day, a few days, a week or more - as needed. Substitutes follow lesson plans and teach language arts, math, science, and social studies in Spanish to preschool - elementary age children.

Must have an understanding and commitment to the vision of the language immersion model. S/he must possess an excellent command of the language of instruction (Spanish) in order to teach and maintain high academic standards, as well as adhere to the language policy of the classroom/school.

• Teacher Certification in appropriate subject area preferred (or in process)
• Degree or concentration required in area of major study (or in process)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English
• Strong organizational and classroom management skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, use of technology in classroom and internet
