Villanova Prep seeks an aquatics coach(es) to head the varsity boys and girls water polo and swim programs.  

Major Areas of Responsibility:

• Planning and conducting practices, and preparing student-athletes for competition.
• Develop and support fundraising initiatives to help off set the programs costs

• Ensure the safety of all participants and enforce pool safety protocols.
• Coordinate with the athletic director regarding schedules, transportation, and program needs.
• Recruiting and supervising assistant coaches.
• Communicating with student-athletes, parents, and school administrators regarding expectations, schedules, athletic program policies etc. 
• Commitment to modeling the values of Catholic education and Villanova’s Augustinian mission. 

Required Qualifications:

• Prior coaching experience in swimming and/or water polo.
• Knowledge of water polo and/or swim training methods, rules, and competition structure.
• Ability to work well with high school students.
• Current lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain).
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous high school or club coaching experience in aquatics.
• Experience working in a Catholic high school environment.
  
  

The wage range is $4,000 - $15,000 depending on experience and number of sports or seasons coaching.
