Hebron Academy is seeking a creative and caring educator interested in fostering student-centered learning in the math classroom. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching a wide range of math disciplines, be enthusiastic about working with adolescents in a residential school environment, and be excited to contribute to a culture of awareness, understanding, and respect for all individuals and groups. We are a deeply relational and intentionally small community where our faculty are encouraged and supported to bring their full selves to their work. We are looking for a faculty member to assume duties in mid-August for the 2026-2027 school year. 

Responsibilities:

• Teach four sections of math
• Lead or assist in an after-school sport or activity for two seasons
• Serve as an advisor to a small group of students
• Supervise students as a part of a residential faculty team  
• Engage in the greater life of the school during meals, celebrations, games, and community events

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in mathematics, mathematics education, or a related field
• Experience teaching mathematics, including lesson planning and differentiating instruction and assessment 
• Enthusiasm for collaborating with colleagues and continued professional growth 

• Commitment to nurturing the whole child by caring for the emotional and social needs of each student
• Demonstrated ability to communicate in a culturally responsive and inclusive manner with diverse students, families, colleagues, and alumni
